What Will Hansen doesn't like about Mr. HAWKER:
A hot soupy bowl of Ipoh chicken kueytiao for a gloomy and rainy Perth day. Would have preferred thigh meat with skin on my noodles and less peppery soup. It was perfect with the pickled chili ! Would come back to try something else next time ! View all feedback. What Celestine Stoltenberg likes about Mr. HAWKER:
Tasty and bold flavours. Bold aroma of scallion oils, umami from msg and they even offered me complimentary sambal before I could think of asking. Granted it’s not a place I go for ambience but I vouch for this place. It’s yum, definitely deserving of a better rating View all feedback.

read moreDiners at the restaurant were met with mixed experiences, ranging from disappointment to delight. While some noted issues such as dirty menus and lackluster service, others praised the bold flavors and generous portions offered. The Ipoh chicken kueytiao was a hit for one customer, while another found the Penang Kuew teoy too spicy. Amidst varying opinions, highlights included the hokkien fried noodle and the scallion oil aroma. Overall, the restaurant seemed to offer a Malaysian culinary experience worth exploring, with some patrons eagerly planning a return visit, while others felt it did not live up to their expectations.
