It's always been good, and almost always ready when predicted.

We always get our favorite spot at the bar, and the atmosphere is relaxed, clean, and enjoyable. The staff is incredibly helpful and always greets us with a smile. The chefs know my usual order perfectly and help my husband explore new dishes. We plan to visit this place as often as we can because we truly enjoy it. It’s perfect for a first date, a weekday outing, hanging out with friends, or simply savoring great food in a laid-back environment.

I hadn't been there in about 9-1... read more I used to visit this restaurant frequently from the late 70s to the early 80s, and occasionally during the 90s and early 2000s. I hadn't been there in about 9-10 years and was disappointed during my last visit. However, I recently heard positive reviews about the place, so I decided to give it another try. I was pleasantly surprised; everything was excellent! The sashimi was top-notch, the beef skewer was fantastic, and the dumplings were tasty. My pork katsu entree was outstanding. While the wine selection was somewhat limited, they had a wonderful California Sauvignon Blanc, which is one of my favorites. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

While I was waiting at the sushi bar for my takeout order, they even offered me a complimentary hot tea. I highly recommend Otani's Japanese Restaurant!

It's a bit pricey,... read more I only started going to the hibachi restaurant during the pandemic, but the food is always good and hot. They have the best steak and shrimp. It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. The two gentlemen who usually take orders are very nice and polite. I would highly recommend this place!
