There were only two bartenders for 225 guests, which resulted in extremely long lines at the bar. On the day of the event, the coordinator struggled to communicate with us effectively, leading to important tables being missed during meal service. The presentation of the cheese station looked like it had been hit by a hurricane. The tent where we were married was unbearably hot, and despite our personal preferences, the sides of the tent were not opened for ventilation. Additionally, the suite we were promised, which was supposed to include drinks and brisket, fell short of expectations and felt underwhelming. I understand that the service industry is facing staffing challenges, but for what we paid at this venue, the service was simply unacceptable. Our family has been regulars at Landerhaven for decades, but the quality of service has drastically declined under the new ownership of Driftwood Catering. We shared our concerns with the Vice President, but our feedback went ignored. Sadly, after this experience, we have lost our loyalty to this venue. If you choose to host an event here, be prepared to budget for at least one day of a high-time coordinator; you will definitely need it.

During the planning of a event for my customer I decided to executive caterers for the outdoor use and their services sucked. diftwood cater have changed our me... read more During the planning of a event for my customer I decided to executive caterers for the outdoor use and their services sucked. diftwood cater have changed our menu selection s under note that the items were not available and forced me to replace items with the selection of the cook and refused me to list other options on the catering menu. After the original menu has been completely paid, this is the kind that they would not expect from a long-term company like landerhaven by executive cateres. when the food was delivered, swimming the meatballs in water, the cake that driftwoods made bakery was noted like the picture that was provided, yes I have covered the meatballs and left the terrible cake that was 100 in his box was never taking it out of the box and will call quality to supply it to executive caterers back, because my customer deserves a full refund. I will post on all social media platforms to stay away from landerhaven when planning an offsite event and looking for an external catering function. not landerhaven or driftwood period. If I could have given them a ZERO star, it would have been my pleasure!

They had all of aug available so I went with it . Granted the place is nice ! The first event planner I had just one day stopped taking my calls . When I went for my dinner tasting the lady,Who arranged that told me I would be if be contacting her from then out. If you want a event planner that answers the phone , is excited to help And there if you have questions this isn't the place for you! Doesn't matter how much you pay because I spent over 16k and couldn't get simple questions answered for weeks at a time! I honestly feel like being a younger black couple they just didn't take us serious or we weren't a real Priority ! The food at the tasting was delish The food at my wedding was blah. Nothing like what I tried . Also my event planner didn't even show the day of !!! They charge for every little teeny tiny thing ! If you give them a budget , prepare to go over ! Seem like their more interested in events like shows and pop up shops over weddings ! The service staff I will say , considering my event planner didn't show was AMAZING! I know they were stressed but they were the best part ! The barmaids all the service staff ! I wouldn't recommend this Place for the amount of money they want ! Their customer service sucks.. Oh and the supervisor could Care less lol . My wedding was beautiful but I feel Like they made it more stressful then it had to be ! And the excuses never run out lol so Just pay and plan by yourself and hope it works out !
