Amazing homestyle little restaurant. Service was quick, food was great prices fantastic. Our waitress was great and on top of things. What a gem! Forgot to mention the pie was the best I have ever had! 6/30/24. Back at Bertha's for another wonderful meal. Any time I am in the Maydelle area, this is a definite stop for me. And getting the Chocolate Pie to take home. BEST Chocolate Pie I have ever had!! View all feedback.

Spent 54$ on Frito pies and cheddar peppers.. asked for nacho cheese on the freeto pies.. got sprinkle cheese (barely) and BARELY any chili on all 6 freeto pies! Then no ranch for 3 full orders of cheddar peppers.. tried to support a local business.. never again but thanks View all feedback.
Awesome food if you are passing thru town, it is worth the stop.
Nice food but a bit too expensive now. I'd be here more if the prices would go down a bit. Me and my Aunt used to get food here everyday til the prices changed.
Their food is absolutely amazing in the women are sweet go get you something to eat there
We had a wonderful breakfast at this tiny cafe. The waitress was super sweet and filled our cups before we ran out. The portions were hudge. The cook seemed like a super sweet lady. The locals treated us like family. The prices are great also. It's half ways between Palestine and rusk off of 84. The lady at the hotel in Rusk recommended Bertha's now I know why.#food#service
The food was really good but the place is really run down. The staff was really nice. The restroom and what I guess was a storage area made me a bit worried about cleaning practices of this cafe.
