Okami Japanese - Mawson

Having come here several times I can honestly say the quality is very consistent. The food tastes fresh, the textures are right, and the flavour is really balanced. Does not matter what you order, it will be quite nice. This is not your average all you can eat experience , it 's like an all you can eat but with the quality standing behind it. Service was A+ with the nifty little I 'm hungry or pls no more style table flags. Service is timed, which is fair enough due to the limited seats and my ability to sink plate after plate of sashimi. All for under 40 with a drink. Quality in Mawson is miles ahead of the Braddon one as well. Parking: Usual 2hr parking around the place, more than enough time as the service is timed.

Very fine place to enjoyable time with your love one. Group or couple all good. Friendly staffs always happy to help you with your order. Event that is your first time att Okami restaurant. Reasonable, why people's keep coming back because atmosphere here like a family dinner all you can eat. Foods is good. Above average with fast service. Dessert with 3 different choices of ice cream. Absolutely delicious takeaway. 2 of us shared Chicken Karaage, Prawn Gyoza, Kaki Fry (oysters), Takoyaki (octopus balls), Squid Salad. Everything was delicious. Oysters were a surprise hit. A little bit of leftovers (probably 1/2 1 serve) but was worth splurging out and trying the variety of dishes. If you wanted to save one dish, drop the chicken and have a seafood feast. You won't be disappointed. Restaurant itself looked nice but busy. Easy online ordering and pickup. Good value for quality.
