The food was disgusting really not edible. We waited mins for a pizza and two sandwiches which tasted like they were frozen and warmed in a microwave. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT
Went out with a group of women as a mom's night out. Great view of the inlet and sunset. The live music was good. The bar waa lively and a great place to stay after dinner for some drinks. The specialty cocktail menu was worth the money. The food selection was extensive and maybe a bit overwhelming. The service was good. Dessert was the only disappointment as two of the choices were not very tasty. Overall a great place to dine.
Had a wonderful few days on our boat at strongs marina which is on the same grounds of Paces. Great asset to have such a great bar and restaurant at a marina. We will be back
We had a lovely table on the patio. The food was delish !! I was so pleased !!! The wine was lovely and or waiter, if he did not know something, he went and found out. I so recommend this lovely restaurant
The restaurant in question has received mixed reviews from customers. Some have complained about poor service, seating next to a loud and distracting area, long wait times, and subpar food quality. While others have praised it for its delicious food, friendly and attentive staff, beautiful atmosphere with outdoor dining options, and enjoyable live music. It seems like the overall experience at the restaurant can be hit or miss, with some diners vowing to never return while others plan on coming back. Despite the mixed feedback, Pampano's Dockside seems to have a loyal following with those who enjoy its creative Mexican seafood dishes and inviting atmosphere.

The restaurant offers generous portions and attentive service from the staff and owner. The Lobster Bisque is a standout dish, filled with large chunks of lobster. A visit to this spot is a must!
Good food, good staff, friendly, there's nothing to dislike here, professional bartenders too
The restaurant offered outstanding food, a beautiful atmosphere, and great service. The steak tip potato skins were an amazing start to the meal.
The food was delightful and the atmosphere was lovely. However, the service could be improved; we had to ask multiple times for water, and it took 35 minutes for our appetizers to arrive.

Everything else was great, but I was disappointed by the beet salad. The beets tasted canned, which was a letdown. Serving canned beets and charging as if they were fresh isn’t acceptable.
I had a disappointing experience at Pace's Dockside. When I arrived, they claimed I didn't have a reservation, despite me showing my confirmation on OpenTable. They said they were no longer affiliated with the service, which forced me to rebook for a different time. Once there, we were seated in a very dim back room, even though there were many open tables in the front. When I asked the hostess why, she replied that she was told to alternate seating between the front and back rooms, and when I inquired about waiting for a front room table, her response was quite rude, stating that no one had ever asked her that before. Eventually, they moved us to the front, but we were placed directly in front of the door at what felt like the worst table in the house, despite several other open options. The food was decent, and the drinks were acceptable, but overpriced for this part of Long Island. We faced an extremely long wait between appetizers and main courses, and no one checked on us for bread or water. The system seemed disorganized, as we encountered three separate mistakes with our orders: sweet potato mash instead of regular, raw clams instead of clams casino, and regular wings instead of duck wings. To top it off, my wife’s vegetables were forgotten and only arrived after we prompted the waiter at the end of the meal. You would think they might offer a glass of wine, take something off the bill, or at least apologize for the mishaps, but none of that happened. Overall, it was a frustrating dining experience.
The food at this restaurant was excellent. I was particularly impressed by the crab cake, which was not greasy like many others I've had. The waitress was very friendly, and the drinks were tasty. I would definitely come back. The only drawback was that the dining room was quite loud, even though it wasn't busy.
