Reviews - Velopops
Reviews summary
Velo Pops boasts a selection of natural, homemade ice pops, with many flavors being vegan-friendly. Highlights include the refreshing pineapple-coconut pop, reminiscent of a piña colada, and a highly praised chocolate-dipped popsicle. However, the restaurant struggles with inconsistent service, particularly in its catering department, leading to frustrations for customers looking to book events. Additionally, while the staff are friendly, their product knowledge can be lacking, leading to mixed experiences. Despite these drawbacks, the vibrant atmosphere and dog-friendly environment make it a delightful spot for popsicle lovers willing to overlook some operational hiccups.

This place offers delicious homemade ice pops made with natural ingredients. The fruit pops are vegan, and some of the cream pops are also vegan. I tried the pineapple and coconut flavor, and it tasted just like a piña colada. Absolutely delicious! View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Velopops:
The best part of Velopops is the chocolate-dipped popsicle. However, they only offer the chocolate dip on weekends. Today, we arrived 20 minutes before closing, but they had already packed it up, which disappointed the kids. Just something to keep in mind. View all feedback.

Great ice cream pops! Tried one flavor but I'll be back to try many more. This place is incredibly clean and the service was great!
I really wish I could leave 5 stars, however, I cannot extend that courtesy. I reached out to Velo Pops catering for services during my wedding. The initial response was prompt and provided the detailed information needed. I responded back to the email with requested information pertaining to the event. After countless attempts to speak with someone and book my wedding date, no response. I called the store and was told the owner would give me a call back…that never happened…I called the phone number listed to call in the initial email…no response…I also sent several correspondence to the catering email with not much luck there either. A teammate finally responded to one of my emails being very apologetic about the mishap and assured me the owner would be reaching out to book my event. This teammate was the only reason I was still open to doing business with them because of his willingness to help and the empathy shown. Nevertheless, here we are less than 60 days out from my wedding and I have yet to speak to anyone to book services. I understand the demands of the summer, and granted what I would like to consider professional grace. I’m truly heartbroken and looked forward to offering this treat to my wedding guest. Catering services is listed as a service provided, if this isn’t the case it should not be offered. It is absolutely unprofessional and no excuse for this type of failed communication. Especially when a patron is reaching out through several channels of communications. As of today, I have yet to hear anything back from Velo Pops as it relates to my September wedding.
Best part is the popsicle dipped in chocolate. Problem is store policy is only dip on weekends. Problem today was we showed up 20 mins before closing and they already put it away. Kids disappointed. Be aware.
The best pops in town! The staff is very friendly and provides excellent customer service. They are also dog-friendly, which we really appreciate. We enjoy sitting outside with our pup and treating her to a puppy-friendly pop too! We'll definitely keep coming back, regardless of the season!

I really wanted to give Velo Pops a five-star review, but unfortunately, I can't. I reached out to them for catering services for my wedding, and while their initial response was prompt and informative, things quickly went downhill. After I provided the details for my event, I attempted to follow up several times to secure my wedding date, but I received no response. I even called their store and was assured that the owner would return my call, but that never happened. I tried the phone number given in the initial email, but still heard nothing back. I also sent multiple emails to the catering address with minimal success. Eventually, a team member did respond to one of my emails, apologizing for the oversight and assuring me that the owner would reach out to finalize the details. This team member's helpfulness and empathy is the only reason I considered continuing to work with them. However, with less than 60 days until my wedding, I still haven't heard from anyone to book the catering services. I understand that the summer season can be busy, but I expected better communication. I'm very disappointed, as I was looking forward to treating my wedding guests to Velo Pops. If catering services are advertised, they should be readily available. It's unprofessional and unacceptable to have such poor communication, especially when a customer is reaching out through multiple channels. As of today, I still have not received any information from Velo Pops regarding my wedding in September.
I was disappointed with the popsicles at this restaurant, which I found to be overpriced. I tried the vanilla flavor, but it tasted bland and reminiscent of 2% milk, so I wouldn't recommend it. My wife had the blueberry lime flavor, which was mostly lime and had barely any hint of blueberry. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, but they seemed to lack knowledge about their products. Right now, they only offer curbside pickup.
