Description

A popular, family-style breakfast spot known for generous portions, reasonable prices and a bright, friendly atmosphere. Regulars praise hearty omelets, flavorful sausage, homemade soups and attentive service, while occasional perks like complimentary dessert delight guests. Drawbacks include long waits, a chaotic entrance/host system and inconsistent food quality — from frozen-style hashbrowns and muffins to weak coffee and overly sweet pancakes — so experiences can vary on busy weekends. Clean dining room and warm staff keep customers coming back despite occasional service and quality lapses.

Charming diner-style restaurant. Their French toast, made with extra-thick bread, is absolutely amazing. Expect a crowd on Sundays during lunch, but the wait is definitely worthwhile.

We absolutely love this restaurant and go out of our way to visit it. The food is delicious and the prices are excellent. The service is outstanding as well!

The entrance and exit is extremely chaotic and unorganized. The eggs on in my veggie omelet did not appear or taste like shell eggs. The sausage gravy was great. The biscuit was frozen quality. It was served warm but I was disappointed with the flavors and lack of the “hometown” deliciousness. Again the entrance is combined with the exit desk. People alllll over the place and staff not having clear role of service as they were chaotic that added to customer experience. The women restroom is TERRIBLE in the first stall. Again a very tight squeeze. My pants touched the toilet abs there was NO way I was getting in without that happening. The toilet paper dispenser could be on the other side of the stall to allow more space to enter and exit the stall. Our waiter was quick and helpful. Took a while to get the check even after we asked for it and still had to wait. Overall it is a 2 star

My experience here was very disappointing since I had heard this was a great place for breakfast. . As nice as the host was, I soon realized how passive aggressive he was being. I stopped in for breakfast, alone.1st time going. I was well aware of the wait time and willing to wait. When he called my name a young lady guided me to the table directly in front of the bathroom, I politely declined. When I told the host that I would wait for a seat at the bar, he insisted I take the table by the bathroom and said my name very loudly. I again, politely declined. I finally sat at the bar to eat and the bartender/waitress was very nice. About 5 minutes later a man sat next to me, she gave him a menu. When she came back to take my order, she went to the man 1st. For that she lost her tip. I was sitting there longer than he was. The food was terrible. I got the corned beef hash, eggs, hash browns and a biscuit. I ate the eggs and the biscuit. Again, this was my first time here so I didn’t know I had to walk my check to the cashier/host. The waitress offered to do it, but I said no worries, I’m walking that way anyway. When I got to the counter, the host said my name, loud with ‘I hope it was good enough for you’. I replied, it was ok. I’ll never go back. And also do not recommend.
