Description

Nestled in a modest setting, this restaurant serves up authentic Korean cuisine that has garnered a mix of admiration and criticism. Diners rave about the flavorful dishes, particularly the Yaki Mandoo and Spicy Korean BBQ, praising their freshness and authenticity. However, experiences with service vary widely, with some customers citing unpleasant interactions and noticeable bias from staff. Despite this, many still recommend the venue for its delicious food and reasonable prices, including a small market offering fresh ingredients. Overall, the restaurant is a hidden gem for Korean food lovers, though visitor expectations regarding service may need adjustment.

Ordered Gul Rung Tang flavorless Dduk Bok Gi good amount of spice O Sam Bul Go Gi yummy maybe you can share with two. Did not see any squid. But it comes with a very small portion of rice. They give you kimchi and 3 other sides. Small but they are fresh. Service is quick. Appetizer 10 piece Yaki Mandoo it was ok not much flavor maybe if i had some sauce.

I had the best seafood pancake I've ever tasted here. It was perfectly crispy and loaded with a good amount of seafood, not soggy at all. The kimchi stew was quite sour, so it's best enjoyed with rice rather than on its own. As for the tteokbokki, it was rather mild and not spicy at all.

My family and I have been visiting this restaurant for the past few years, and each time, it never fails to impress! The food is outstanding, and the staff are always very friendly. The shop inside the building is a fantastic place to explore a variety of foods to expand your palate. There's something for everyone! I highly recommend the Yaki Mandu (please forgive my spelling). If you're looking for excellent Asian cuisine in Charlotte, this is definitely the place to try!

This was by far some of the best Korean food I have eaten in Charlotte. If you weren't looking for this place, it would be easy to miss! Additionally, you will want to enter from the side of the building where you park, not the front! As you walk in, there's a cute little seating area that is tucked into the grocery store. To kick the meal off, we ordered the steamed mandoo. It was super soft and pillowy while the filling inside was delicious. They are kind of big so make sure not to fill up on these at the start. As for my main course, I ordered the Bibimbap. This bowl of food was made with love, and I enjoyed every bite. The base consisted of rice, and it was accompanied by a bunch of different veggies, meat, and a perfectly cooked egg! There is also a bibimbap sauce that came with the dish that added the right amount of spice and tang. The fish cakes were also our favorite side dish! Our waitress was great, and I would definitely make this place a priority on your list if you are on the search for Korean food in the area.
