Every time I come here wit... read more The female server/hostess is so unbelievably rude. The food here is average, but the customer service brings it down from a 3 to a 1. Every time I come here with my friends, I feel like we are constantly judged by this woman. I come here regularly and get the same terrible treatment each time. We are never giving the same politeness and niceties as other customers— the bias is very obvious. Today while I was paying with apple pay, the woman flinched away from me when I put my phone down. Absolutely ridiculous. When I come with my friends we always tip well and leave relatively fast— this service is absolutely horrible. I definitely will not be recommending this place or coming again in the future.

I'm not Korean myself, but some Korean people I know say it's a... read more The place doesn't have the best aesthetics, but that doesn't matter because the food is amazing. I'm not Korean myself, but some Korean people I know say it's authentic. The food is very tasty and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend the beef bulgogi, it was scrumptious. The small store there is also nice, they have a good selection of food and kitchen items, and if you like kimchi you can buy a huge jar of it if you'd like. Overall, I think everyone should try this restaurant if you get the chance.

The ser... read more Never a disappointing meal at Pepero. It is the best Korean restaurant (and grocery) in the charlotte and surrounding area (yes, I have tried them all). The service is great, and the food is genuinely authentic. I recommend trying pretty much everything on the menu, I have yet to run into anything that was not as delicious as I expected. If you're not sure what you want, there are pictures of all the menu items, and the staff will answer any questions that you have. 5 stars every time I've been in the past ~8 years.
