We had an incredible experience yesterday at Ararat17! The people there were so friendly and we were offered several items to try including houmus, baba ganoush and amazing bread. We also tried a combination Shish Kabob platter and khinkali (Georgian dumplings). Everything was delicious! Also, the pomegranate wine was out of this world! Finally, a good red wine that doesn't have a bad aftertaste! I can't wait to go back!
This place is a gem in Charlotte! The food is outstanding and the people and atmosphere are welcoming. The lamb shish kabobs are a must! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a nice Armenian meal here. Everything is fresh and flavorful.
Love love love this place!! It's authentic incredible food with a side of great friendly and inviting staff! The pomegranate house wine is a must-have!

We visited for lunch on 7/7/2017. The meal was fantastic!! Beautiful furnishings and the bar was very stylish. The new owners have paid close attention to detail. I would recommend this restaurant for any special occasion such as date night, a business dinner or if you just want some of the best authentic Armenian cuisine in the area. Everything was fresh and tasty with a beautiful presentation. We will be returning soon!!!
