The staff here is very friendly, and they offer excellent vegan scones served with cream and jam. The large espresso is also great, and they have a variety of vegan cakes available. This update is from my previous review on September 2, 2022. View all feedback.
Visited here with gf daughter for a coffee after visiting the height. server understood and could tell us what they could have. real care with order. owner is zöliakie and we had a good chat. would recommend.
I inquired about vegan cake options, and they immediately pointed out about half a dozen vegan choices available in the display. Although I wasn't looking for lunch, I also asked if they had vegan lunch options, and they confirmed that they do. I would definitely recommend a visit!
My son has celiac disease, and while we were visiting Heights of Abraham, we found this place conveniently located by the parking lot, which worked out perfectly. He ordered a gluten-free sausage roll and a slice of lemon drizzle cake. The manager's grandfather follows a gluten-free diet, and the owner has celiac disease, so they really understand the needs of gluten-sensitive customers. There were plenty of options available. My son loved the sausage roll, and I'm writing this review before he digs into the lemon drizzle cake, which I'm sure will be delightful, especially after tasting my carrot cake! This is a warm and inviting café with friendly and helpful staff.

Charming little café located along the road between Matlock Bath and Matlock. They offer a delightful vegan sausage roll for just three pounds, available in two flavors. Non-dairy milk options are also provided. The vegan cake is quite tasty as well. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
