What Heather Anderson likes about Smolik's Smokehouse:
I love the BBQ Salad with chopped BBQ beans. It also has lettuce, carrots, jalapenos, tomatoes, onions on it comes with a bag of chips. Instead of dressing, I get BBQ sauce on the side put a little on my salad! You stand in line, place your order, pay seat yourself. Our waitress was very attentive thorough. The past few times I've been here have been average for the cost. Rolls were stale and hard. Marbled brisket was too fatty or just not cooked low enough. Very salty sausage. $5 strawberry lemonade was small. Normally good with no complaints. Braised cabbage is my go-to side. That being said, 3 times in a row with issues is unfortunate. This place is good but I like the one in town better
Nice halfway lunch stop if you're heading to the beach. Pretty cool town history and collection inside.
The brisket is amazing. It's not super fast at the drive thru, but it's worth the wait.
We had the barbecue briskets, some sausage and chicken and it was all very good. This is one place you just won't be disappointed.
Some of the best fatty brisket Ive ever had , just fell apart it was so tender and juicy.
