Everything from food to service to vibe was top tier.

On night 3 we came here and we were blown away. This is the best experience we have had in Matera and every dish is phenomenal. 100% coming here again. If you’re travelling through, for sure make this a stop. (also the pork loins dish is out of this world)

My pork was am... read more We enjoyed a superb supper with superb attentive service at Dimitria this evening. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the food was top notch. My pork was amongst the best I have ever had, tasty and cooked to perfection. My wife’s orecchiette dish was superb too. The ambience in this restaurant is pretty cool and classy. It lies just outside (by a few steps) the sought-after touristy centre of Matera, but don’t let that put you off: this place is good.
