We loved this restaurant so much that we visited it twice for dinner over our three night stay in Matera. The food was amazing, the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the ingredients and their local produce. The restaurant has a great vibe even on a quiet Monday night due to the attentive friendliness of the staff we were made to feel very welcome.
Really a pleasant evening, beautiful, clean and cozy environment with braceria exposed. excellent size mixed meat roasted at a point but not only. we have obtained many other delicacies of the gastronomic tradition of Lucana, excellently revisited, from cialledda to bread meatballs, to raw peppers, to oil, roast meats, cheeses, grilled vegetables. not to mention the delicious potato tortini with podolica caciocavallo fondue and horseradish with porcini cream and caramelized onion, all watered with excellent aglianico. delicious desserts not to be missed
The capatosta is a restaurant with an attractive location, inside the beautiful ancella farm chosen for the lunch of August. we ordered a good appetizer of the farm with warm and cold courses typical Apulian, indeed excellent the first as well as the second meat with special mension for the gooseous cut of donkey. the service has always been in the name of kindness and sympathy and the final account has had a great value for money. I highly recommend it, given the atmosphere created by the owners, not only for lunch but also for dinner.
We had a good time, the staff was friendly and the food was excellent. I recommend it.
