Highlight of 21 days in Italy!! Matera is such an amazing place and the hotel Palzzo del Duca was incredible. Our room was exactly what we were looking for, perfect for us. Rooms with the pool or hot tub so very hot inside, 2 rooms had been booked both for Ourselves and 2 other friends, AC does not work, gave us a rattling fan and took off cover of AC but did nothing to cool room, also very dark in rooms and no chairs to sit on, broken toilet flushers and broken pool knobs, refrigerator does not keep anything cold, free breakfast very average.
