The hotel and the restaurant... read more This restaurant is located inside the Atenea Port Hotel in Mataró. We have been for lunch after staying in the hotel for one night. The hotel and the restaurant are very nice and modern. We have ordered some razors to share as starter and as a main course a mushrooms and artichokes paella that has been fantastic!!! Very tasteful and well done!!! The dessert has been a fruits' salad. They have very good Catalans' red wines into the list. The place is very nice and the food and the service too. We will come back for sure to the hotel and to the restaurant. The place it is also recommended for dinner because they have a chill out with drinks and music.

I asked for a raw steak, and the meat you could see it had been freezed! and it tasted soo much like olive oil that I couldn't finish it! and the desert, I asked for a chocolate creap, and It was served cold and the texture... well it looked like someone had done it 3 days ago! Didn't like the experience!

The staff did not have time for us even though we were all alone in the restaurant. They also forgot the potatoes for one dinner. We had to ask for them but the... read more The staff did not have time for us even though we were all alone in the restaurant. They also forgot the potatoes for one dinner. We had to ask for them but they did not apologize when they came with them. Perfectly ok food but a little sad that they do not perform better when dinner cost over 70 euros. Will not return.

During the previous steps we were very well served by raquel and montse who took care of everything going well, including the excellent menu test. both in the appetizer and in the banquet we receive excellent attention from nicole, miguel, angie and forgive if I forget any. In both cases the food got us a lot and we find that also the guests. everything was perfect and I want to thank you for the attention we received from the hotel address. many thanks to all.
