Tempatku - Mataram

Food and service were perfect at Tempatku Senggigi. We're here from Perth and came to dinner last night and Kelly and the staff were absolutely brilliant to give us so great information about everything Lombok. Besides the excellent hospitality, the food was great. I had the rich chicken sticks that were so beautifully presented with rice and salads. What an absolute jewel right at the main road. I ask everyone in the Lombok region to visit Tempatku and see for themselves what this is about.

We stayed one night, picked this hotel because it wasn’t on the main road and we thought it would be less noisy. Unfortunately there is a rockand roll bar and some night clubs which play loud music until late in the night (even with earplugs it was loud). The bed was unconfortable, even though the room is really big. No mosquito net, the AC worked but it became so noisy it woke me up. They have a few birds in small cages, some of them left under the sun, I did not enjoy having my breakfast with these poor animals kept locked around me. For this price on Lombok or even Bali we have seen so much better and we expected a bit more.

Great little restaurant located just off the main road in centre of Senggigi. The food was delicious and packed full of flavor. We ate at many different places during our stay and found this to be one of the best and most cost effective places for a feed. Kelly and her staff were super friendly and did everything possible to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. We will be eating here again for sure! 5 Stars!

The food here is absolutely delicious. The duck was probably the best I have ever had and the whole freshwater fish (can't remember the name of it) was cooked to perfection!! As good as any meal I have had in high-end Australian restaurants for a fraction of the price!!
