We got the chicken and dumpling meal that was listed as coming with two sides, but were later informed we would have to pay an additional $6 for the sides. Some of the food was burnt, and our rolls were extremely dry. My husband had a bone in his chicken, and mine had a lot of gristle. I really hope to see them improve, because it is such a nice spot to have in Massillon.

The menu offers much more than just grilled dishes, including fantastic vegetarian options. Everyone was really friendly, and the owner even stopped by to see how we were doing.

Our meal was fantastic, and the portions were more than generous. While the sauce options could use a bit more variety, they were all delicious. There’s a wide selection of beers available, both on tap and in bottles or cans. The service was excellent during our visit, but it didn’t feel overwhelming.

My family visited on a quiet Sunday with only a handful of other customers, yet it still took around 45 minutes from ordering to receiving our food. However, the staff were friendly, and the food arrived hot and tasted great. Surprisingly, they offer good vegetarian options for a BBQ place in a smaller town.

We ordered the chicken and... read more The atmosphere at Angry Barbeque is charming, but sadly, the food fell short of our expectations. The menu was confusing to navigate. We ordered the chicken and dumplings, which was supposed to come with two sides, but were later informed there was an additional $6 charge for them. Some of the dishes were overcooked, and the rolls were very dry. My husband discovered a bone in his chicken, and mine contained quite a bit of gristle. I truly hope they can improve, as it’s a great addition to Massillon.
