I recently visited the shopping center and it is a shadow of its former self. Back in the early 90s, it used to have Aladdin's Castle arcade, a lively atmosphere, brimming with shops and always bustling with people. Times have certainly changed, but I hope it can regain its charm as a fun destination. I give it five stars for the fond memories! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about St. Lawrence Centre:
The shopping center still has some shops open, but the overall atmosphere is quite empty and depressing, especially on bad weather days. I was told that photography was not permitted, which I found to be absurd and pointless since there are plenty of online photos showcasing the run-down state of the place. However, I did find the antique shop in the shopping center to have some interesting and unique items worth che... View all feedback.
What the shops are left are beautiful places to shop and it is all inside.
Growing up this was a decent mall. Why aren't these stores open during mall hours? And not just a few hours. They should be open all hours that the mall is open. It's odd to go to a mall during mall hours and nearly all of what it has for stores are closed. Went today and stores/restaurants that stated they were open online, were closed. And not to mention the poor place is falling apart, literally, parts of the ceiling are missing and/or leaking, hopefully they can fix it before its too far gone or the mall will really be donezo. We need more brand name stores. Maybe other entertainment like a Ripley's type place, an aquarium, or like destiny USA's Wonder Works? it's not the location, it's the stores. Hoping it improves but doubtful, xo.
Truly outstanding, I loved all the buckets filled with dirty, nasty, ceiling water. The smells I smelt were beyond unique. 10/10 will visit again.
The stores that have remained open are really trying to make the best of things.
I wish there was more in this mini mall because it felt like a ghost town. But there is a few gems in there still. I’d say check it out sometime. With more people visiting it, the more likely it is to grow.
