Osteria Da Peppe - Massa Lubrense

I can't recommend this place enough. It is run by two amazing women who are both sweethearts. The food is spectacular and inexpensive. Total hole in the wall in the best way. They were very attentive and professional. Food was excellent and we will definitely go back. Can't recommend this place enough, definitely go!

This is a great place for food to take away. Everything is excellent! The vegetables (eggplant, peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, etc. are cooked to perfection. The eggplant parmesan is one of the best I've had anywhere in Italy. Their pizza is also very good, as are their arancini di riso and croquets. Really you can't go wrong at this place. The family that runs Osteria Da Peppe is also wonderful. Highly recommended!

The dishes served at this Osteria are excellent! The sandwiches are out of this world. My favorite is mozzarella with roasted red peppers. They have outstanding cannelloni and other vegetable side dishes as well. The bread on which they serve sandwiches is out of this world. This establishment used to be Rosticceria Jolly in the center of Massa, and moved closer to Sant'Agata a couple of years ago. This place is definitely worth a visit.

Tasty, fresh, home made food, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. 100% recommend getting one of the freshly made specials and the 'mixed fried ' arancini.
