Bella Donna Pizzeria - Maspeth

This is a fantastic little pizza place! I've been coming here for several years since I moved to the area, and the pizza has consistently been excellent. The prices are reasonable, and their take-out specials are a lifesaver during busy weeks when I work late and need an affordable, delicious meal. My personal favorite is the Chicken Primavera Pie; I always opt for grilled chicken instead of baked, and it's always fresh and full of flavor. A tip: it's best to place your order directly with the pizzeria, as it’s cheaper than using an app, and they get your order right every time.

I'm a big fan of Bella Donna. When it first opened about 20 years ago, it was fantastic. Over the years, however, the quality seemed to decline. On a whim, I decided to give it another try about five years ago after a long break, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the food and pizza were still excellent. I particularly enjoyed the tortellini, ziti, and sandwiches, which are all very good. Since then, I've been ordering regularly. Whatever they're doing now, it's definitely working! Be sure to tip the delivery guy well; he's incredibly polite, courteous, and respectful, which makes a big difference. I'm really glad to see Bella Donna back to its best. Thank you, guys! I placed a special order through the Slice app, but after waiting longer than expected, I started to look into their reviews, which weren’t favorable. So, I called Bella Donna directly, and the owner was incredibly kind and apologetic. I learned that when you order through Slice, they use their drivers who may not be very prompt. The food arrived shortly after my call, but the driver didn’t bring the soda I ordered, claiming that was all he had. He didn’t double-check the order or reach out to the owner again. However, the owner personally delivered the sodas to my house and encouraged me to order directly from him next time. This level of customer service was impressive, and the food was delicious too. Now living in Queens, the pizza took me back to my childhood in the Bronx, which is a huge compliment. Thank you!

I just ordered pizza from here for the first time since I moved to the neighborhood and definitely found my new place! Coming from Ozone Park we had some of the best pizzas in NY (New Park, Ozone, Aldos etc.) and this place is in place if not better! The price for a big paprika cake was also just $20, which was very fair for this neighborhood.
