Description
Firebirds Wood Fired Grill blends upscale-chain polish with a lively, roomy atmosphere and a wood-fired menu that delivers standout steaks, pork chops and inventive cocktails, plus memorable desserts. Service is often attentive and the bar/happy-hour scene is a draw, but food consistency can be uneven—steaks and timing receive mixed marks—and occasional slow service or cleanliness lapses mar visits. Popular and slightly pricey, it's a solid choice for dates, celebrations or solo dining; reservations recommended.

I discovered an amazing restaurant for dinner while on a work trip. Despite it being a lively Monday night, I was fortunate to find a cozy solo seat at the bar on a comfortable bench table with pillows—just what I needed after a long day of travel. The half-priced glasses of rosé were a delightful touch! For my meal, I tried the Honey Garlic Chicken, accompanied by broccoli and Parmesan mashed potatoes. Everything was exceptionally tasty, and I highly recommend it!
One thing Firebird truly excels at is the Cajun butter steak! It melts in your mouth like butter. If you enjoy a little spice, this dish is ideal. It’s not excessively spicy, but the delicate hint of Cajun flavor takes the steak to an entirely new level. The service was outstanding; our waitress answered all our questions and didn’t rush us while we were still considering the menu. On the downside, my Caesar salad didn’t quite taste like a traditional Caesar salad. However, I had the pleasure of trying the lemon cake for the first time, and it was a delight. It’s not overly sweet, but when you drizzle it with blueberry sauce, it adds a lovely touch of sweetness to the cake.
On my first visit, I enjoyed a 16 oz Prime Rib paired with tater tots, finished off with Key Lime pie and an Old Fashioned. It was simply amazing! When I returned for my second visit, I decided to treat myself a little more. I kicked things off with two appetizers: Bacon Deviled Eggs and Prime Rib Sliders. For my main dish, I opted for a Spinach Salmon Salad, which I complemented with Ginger Beer and tonic water. Everything was delicious! We met our good friends here last weekend. When you walk in you are met with the smell of grilled food and a very spacious and clean restaurant. Our waitress was very attentive. We ordered drinks off their summer drink menu. I can't remember the name of the drink. It was very good. I decided to get the three course meal. Started with the BLT salad, which was delicious. The bacon was so good. I ordered the small sirloin with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak had the texture of ground beef. It was overcooked and just tasted awful. No sear on it and some sort of seasoned butter. It just was not good. The mashed potatoes were cold on the outside and warm on the inside and absolutely flavorless. The broccoli had nothing on it. It was just plain steamed broccoli. I don't know what I expected on the broccoli, but it was just plain. It wasn't even tasty when you dipped it in the very small amount of juice and butter from the steak. I didn't even eat more than a few bites of the steak because the texture was so bad, and it was so overcooked the waitress came and asked if I needed a box and I told her no that it was just terrible. She got the manager. He said he took it off our bill, which was really nice, I guess, but I left the restaurant without having a dinner. They asked me if I wanted something else, but I didn't want to sit and eat my dinner and make everyone else wait. I ordered the crème brûlée cheesecake to go. It was the third component to the meal. My husband and I shared that when we got home, and it was absolutely delicious. I don't really like cheesecake, but it was more like a crème brûlée than it was cheesecake. My husband had the burger. He said it was OK, but not great, Our friends had the Cajun steak. And the chicken salad. He said the steak was fine, and she said the salad was absolutely delicious. Our friend also ordered the old fashion. He had two of them. He said they were fantastic. Overall, not a great experience if the entrées aren't good.
