Stopped in for a quick lunch. Really great menu - has lots to offer. Food was fresh and yummy. Steak was cooked very close to ordered.... probably the best steak for a long time. Staff were accommodating, the lady was a bit abrupt but she was run off her feet as she explained the other staff member didn't show. I think it must of been an off day for her. Parma was YUM! Kids loved their chips and it was all well price... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Aldinga Pub:
A mediocre shopping experience. Service rating of 3 out of 10. When I drove in, I had to wait for the team to finish chatting before they came to help me. The staff seemed uninformed about the products they were selling and showed little interest in helping customers. I will consider going to a competing store in the mall next time to save time. We were a little unsure what we'd find inside the slightly off putting frontage - but once inside, we weren't disappointed. The food was hearty and tasty ( the Dingo Burger was massive, fresh and yummy!). We had young children with us and the kids loved their food too. A great lunch all round!
This is a traditional old fashioned, untouched pub, refreshing these days where everything has been changed to gastro pubs and bistros. Food is always of a very good standard and the choices are varied enough to be interesting.Just don't sit right next to the doorway on a cooler windy day, it can get a bit breezy.
An old pub, that mainly caters to the pensioners and those who love pokiesThe staff are friendly and the prices reasonable.
Meals are beautiful, food is plentiful. Service cannot be faulted. Great Friday night atmosphere in the front bar. This pub also has a courtesy bus that runs Thursday to Saturday. It picks you up from your door and takes you home at the end of the night for a gold coin donation each way. Juke box is always pumping out the tunes Friday night also. This pub still has not lost its country pub atmosphere.
Stayed the weekend in Aldinga. Being a Saturday night we were looking for somewhere to eat, and not takeaway. Could not get into VIctory Hotel, so thought we would try Aldinga Pub. Not great from the outside, nor inside, but the menu was appealing. The young staff were very friendly. Warm bread rolls were brought out. We ordered a 'crispy skin barramundi with mango salsa', which came with sweet potato fries which were amazing. A seafood basket with chips was very filling. A choice of salad or vegetables. Prices were very reasonable, around $24. Would go back again for a good and very relaxed meal.
