Whenever I drive through Maryborough to Hervey Bay I pass by this espresso bar, I should have stopped in sooner. The cafe from the street is rather appealing and so is the inside, nicely decorated. We were warmly greeted by the staff member who took our coffee orders promptly and soon they were delivered to our table. Who would have thought that on the long drive north from Brisbane, one would find amazing coffee in a tiny town! Was driving through on my trip south to Brisbane and happened to come by this coffee bar that amazingly opens at 5.30am. Wasn't expecting much as most of the coffee places along the journey were disappointing...so glad I gave Sip Espresso Bar a try. They are located opposite the hospital on the main road into Maryborough off the highway. It's a quick 5min drive from the Maryborough turnoff on the highway to the cafe. Not much in terms of snacks or breakfast...they do what they do best...great coffee!!There's a snack place a couple of doors down that serves sandwiches etc. On my trip back up north, I made it a point to stop by.
Absolutely amazing Japanese good! Coming from NYC we are used to pretty good Japanese and Soma is hands down one of my favorites.
Very disappointing the worst restaurant in Marais Vulgarity and very artificial cookery
There is seating inside and out, we chose to sit inside surrounded by the interesting prints and moose head on the wall, and glanced over the hand made gifts, scarves and jewellery for sale. There was plenty of free street parking on the day of our visit but this might change as across the road in the Maryborough Hospital. I liked the coffee so much that I bought a bag of the cafe's special blend, I will definitely be back.
Called in here on the way to the Fraser Coast Show. Excellent latte and capucino. Liked the dining table and menu board made from recycled bus doors. Unusually, beautiful flower bouquets at very keen prices available as a bonus!
