Great spot to stop between Sydney and Canberra. Perfect for kids as kids meals are only $6 and the restaurant is located opposite a park which is perfect the kids to burn energy. Food isn't anything amazing for adults however good enough for a quick bite to eat. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Meridian Cafe:
Public holiday and large numbers of people at the road service centre we decided to meet in the MARULAN village for a break. The Meridian cafe was the only place open for us to eat. There wasn't any food only cake left due to the busy day.We had 2 small serve of cake and 3 small cups of coffee. The cake was nice but the bill of $30 was a bit over the top. Higher than city prices for a small country town is not really... View all feedback.

The kids loved the milkshakes. The sandwiches were also delicious. Great variety and beautiful people
I had the bacon and egg roll and a large coffee. You must have the homemade sauce, it was lovely. The large coffee was a little small. The cafe was popular with fellow travellers and catered for those with dogs at their outdoor seating.
Return trip into Marulan for the day saw us elect to eat weekday lunch at the Meridian Cafe where our expectations for lunch were exceeded with a satisfying salmon and leek quiche, prepared and cooked "in house", warm from the oven, with a simple salad, freshly squeezed OJ and espresso.
Didn't even know there was such a thriving little village behind all those roadhouses in Marulan. Stopped for lunch at this little cafe with walls covered in pet photos sent from all over Australia - apparantly the privilege is for pet owners who donate $20 to a little school in Burundi (Central Africa). The menu is blackboard, so I presume it changes often. We enjoyed bruschetta and a ratatouille/goat cheese plate. All quality ingredient meals.Coffee - well a little average - but ambience makes up for it all.
