Food is always fresh and dependable. Staff was overwhelmed but friendly. The atmosphere is "old ' and lacking, and the carpet was somehow sticky... not sure how that is possible. I ate at Captain Tom's seafood restaurant a couple times during my visit in late January, early February. The food was great, but the service was outstanding. The waitress (Cody) was excellent, professional, and friendly. She is a terrific sales lady for the restaurant. I will be sure to dine there on future visits to the Martinsville area. My mother, my son and I ate here this past Saturday. I got the flounder and shrimp plate and my mother and son both got the 12 inch wraps , the only problem was that the 12 inch wrap barely reached 6 inches. I don't know what the problem was but if they thinking we're gonna come back and spend 50 bucks plus tip , while getting jipped, they're mistaken. Getting tired of all these businesses just ripping us all off.Do better.
