As someone who loves BBQ, I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The process of getting seated, ordering, and leaving was quick and simple. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was tasty, but the portion sizes were a bit small. For example, the brisket sandwich was served on a small dinner roll, which seemed like a case of shrinkflation. This restaurant truly deserves its top ranking - it is fantastic in every way. Make sure to save room for their banana pudding, as it is absolutely amazing. You'll definitely be coming back for more!
The best food in Martinsville can be found at this restaurant. All of the staff members are kind and talented in the kitchen.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant for the first time. The 1/2 Champions family feast was delicious and the sides were just as impressive as the barbecue. The meat was tender and flavorful, from the fall-off-the-bone ribs to the perfectly cooked brisket. I will definitely return, even if it means a 2 ½ hour drive. Thank you to the waiter who recommended this place - I'll be back tomorrow if I can!
First time eating here, loved it. This is the first apha-gal friendly BBQ restaurant I've seen. Had the chopped chicken BBQ sandwich and peach cobbler. I will be returning for more.
I have been on a quest for the best BBQ in Virginia since 2012. I have been to over 70 BBQ joints in Virginia since 2012. Reading the negative reviews. I think I'm not gonna travel 170 miles to visit your location! The reviews I read about your Mac n cheese sealed the deal. Come to Richmond Virginia folks, and try Alamo BBQ or Deep Run Road House BBQ for some jalapeno Mac n cheese!
