Upon arrival, we chose a seat right up front, allowing us to enjoy the view of the street and passersby — it felt like our own cozy little nook. We began our meal with drinks, and I decided to try the "Rox a Rita," thanks to our sweet and attentive waitress, Ryan. The cocktail was smoky and delicious, with fresh fruit that really popped. We ordered a couple of appetizers: polenta and a cheese platter. The polenta was delightful, but the fried cheese was absolutely spectacular — we really love our cheeses! The cheese platter was visually stunning and enticing, featuring blue cheese and some local varieties that were delicately flavorful. When Ryan described the special, a crab melt, it sounded so mouthwatering. I also ordered a veggie burger that was unlike any I had tried before. The crab melt tasted incredibly fresh, and it came with a simple yet delicious side salad that complemented it perfectly. The veggie burger had a soft texture and was spiced wonderfully, paired with crispy fried tater tots that were equally satisfying. We found ourselves chatting comfortably throughout the meal; the atmosphere was calm and inviting. The restaurant had a sophisticated ambiance without being overwhelming. I learned that they offer live music on weekends, adding a nice touch of entertainment to your dining experience. I almost forgot to mention the bartender! Her cocktails were fantastic; I could easily return just to see how she crafts those delightful drinks that surprise your palate in ways I haven't experienced at other restaurants in the Bay Area. The bartender mentioned she had years of experience, and it certainly showed. While I may be gushing, I felt compelled to share every detail because the evening was truly special, and the restaurant exceeded my expectations. By the time we left, we said our goodbyes to the chef and her team, expressing my admiration for how well everything came together — it was amazing to experience such joy in each bite. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend visiting! **Vegetarian Options:** The vegetarian choices are excellent, and it's a great spot for pescatarians as well. **Parking:** Parking was easy during the week; I didn’t have to pay, though there were meters. I arrived late enough to avoid parking fees. **Wheelchair Accessibility:** The restaurant has plenty of space, and tables can be rearranged to accommodate everyone.
