We visited a sushi restaurant in California before heading to Minnesota for a wedding. My friend found this hidden gem where we enjoyed a delicious meal. We ordered a Sashimi combo plate, a few pieces of Ika, and the 911 roll for lunch. The 32oz Sapporo for $6 was a great deal. We sat outside in beautiful weather, sipped on our beers, and savored our lunch. The Ika was fresh and delicious, a highlight of the meal. Th... View all feedback.
What Faisal doesn't like about Hanabi Sushi (martinez):
We ordered the $119 party platter and it included 2 pieces of salmon, 3 pieces of tuna nigiri, and 15 shrimp. While there were some other types of fish included, there was an overwhelming amount of shrimp. Out of over 120 pieces, only 2 were salmon and 3 were red tuna nigiri. My place for sushi. I just know, but they have the best soup. The gyoza is the upper notch. Good friendly service. You've got outside seats. Good location.
Fish is always fresh. Portions are big , lots of rolls to choose from, nice people. You can ask for special plates to the chef. They also make special rolls to your request
In addicted to Hanabi's tempura combo. Everything is fresh, high quality, and is cooked just enough to be light and crispy.Food: 5/5
Great food and nice service. Sashimi tastes fresh and the rolls are tasty. Sashimi combo and vegetable tempura is a always a must. I really like getting a lion king or titanic roll. Small restaurant but it adds to the charm of the place. Good eats!
Just moved to the area, so I've been slowly trying to explore new places and restaurants. Decided it was going to be a sushi night. We ordered takeout. Hanabi provided lots of soy sauce and utensils. We called in our order and was able to pick up in 15 mins. Our order was good for 3-4 people. It came with soup and salad which I didn't take a picture of. The sushi itself was nothing amazing. The rolls we got were basic, and they honestly didn't taste great. The California roll and rainbow roll were made with a lot of mayo. The nigiri was also not that great. I didn't thing they tasted too fresh. I might return for a quick and easy sushi dinner since it's pretty close, but I would choose otherwise if possible.
