The staff is incredibly helpful, especially one of the owners, Sean Macias. He goes out of his way to help customers find the perfect beer for their taste. I absolutely love this place. Fantastic location and facility. Great patio, and indoor space is a perfect industrial taproom style brewery. Unfortunately, the beer, to be generous, is not good.. at all. Everyone in our group, from beer snobs to casual drinkers agreed. The brewery down the street is an example of great beer. This place needs to nail down their process. I hate to bag on it, but a brewery must make really good beer. View all feedback.
Amazing beer, even better people! Good prices. Love all the food trucks that they have. They have outdoor seating available. Always a must when in Martinez!
My advice: slip past the *other* beer place and continue to Five Suns! You will not regret this decision- best beer in Martinez and super friendly as well. I love the vibe here on a recent Saturday the owner served us before opening (guess we looked thirsty).
Awesome owners. Great to above average beers. Great service and friendly environment. I would definitely recommend a detour if you are driving near or past Martinez. If the leadership of Martinez is smart, I would do everything to assist the two breweries as they are bringing in more and more people who would never bother driving into Martinez.
Beer is good, and service is equally as good. Hope next time they have more selections on tap. Pleasant experience.
Five Suns Brewery in Martinez is hands down my favorite brewery in the area and ranks in my top five in Contra Costa County. The location is fantastic and the atmosphere is lively, with some of the staff having funny stories to share. The staff is incredibly friendly and always makes us feel welcome. I appreciate how they are willing to recommend beers and engage in thoughtful conversation. And let's not forget about the beer - it's delicious! They even sell some of their brews at local stores. Overall, Five Suns Brewery is a must-visit for beer lovers in the area.
