I didn't even know this place was here, but since 1979. Decor is economical nautical theme. A little dark. I sat for a while before they noticed I was there. Friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. I had Cajun grilled shrimps, used very little cocktail sauce because it was delicious as it was. The potato was perfection. The tea was good, not flavored sugar water as many places. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Jb's Seafood:
Ordered pickup. 2 seafood platters (one broiled, one fried). Shrimp can not be broiled because they come prebreaded. Broiled fish was way over cooked (did not eat). Stuffed crabs, shrimp, fish were not appetizing. The broiled oysters and scallops were good, but not enough to make me want to go back. Hushpuppies were cooked too done. Great food. Old time seafood house. Great food at incredible prices. We have two seafood tablets, drink, cake for $35. Great menu, great food, with a friendly staff. If you don't give them a try that you're missing.
After shooting at Hyatt?s. We were pleasantly surprised. We both had the grilled seafood plate. Happy! We have both the Mayo vinegar Cole Slav, Again they were both very good. We will definitely be back!!
This place is a hidden gem. Great people and food is amazing! That wouldn't change. Reliable family fish worth every penny. Everything was phenomenal!
JBs is the best place in NC not on the coast to get seafood! The food is so good!! My family has been coming to JBs for a long, long time. My grandma Mrs. Virginia, my mama Wanda, and my aunt Janet! They all loved this place. I can't wait to come back to Marshville to get some of this good food and hospitality ?
