A cozy, European-styled bakery-café that feels like visiting a friendly uncle: a small (six-table) spot serving all-baked, fresh, consistently excellent pastries and hearty lunch options. Standouts include flaky empanadas, stuffed brioche, spanakopita, and a rotating selection of cakes and tarts — lemon poppy seed, cheesecake, and profiteroles among favorites. A warm, quirky owner, nostalgic décor and music create a charming, intimate atmosphere worth a detour; portions are generous, ingredients taste homemade, and it’s ideal for pastry lovers and casual lunches.

Was Cora Hills at Rainbow Sweets a mag?
The owner is a lot of fun and kept us laughing throughout our visit. I really enjoyed the hearty lunch options, which were complemented by an excellent salad. Among the pastries, the pancake was my favorite; it was absolutely delicious. The cheesecake and chocolate whipped cream cakes were fantastic as well. I highly recommend not just stopping by for sweets, but also visiting for lunch followed by dessert! View all feedback.
I love this place! The food is fresh and delicious. The bakeries are excellent!. The owner is a Hoot to not mention an artist in the kitchen. I miss the rainbow!
So delicious as they are delicious. If you have not been you are really missing on such the best food and desserts in the NEK!
Excellent appetizers. I had the empanada with a Greek salad. The empanada was about 6 by 3 with a wonderful flaky crust. The Greek salad was excellent with plenty of olives. It was plenty enough for a meal. What is jokingly addressed as the main course is the wonderful selection of cakes tarts and other pastries that just melt in your mouth.
I drove four hours just to visit this bakery, and it was absolutely worth it. The owner makes you feel like you're spending time with your favorite uncle, and his jokes will have you laughing the whole time. You simply must try the empanadas—they are, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. The stuffed brioche is a unique delight, filled with amazing cheese and spinach. The "Johnny Depps on a plate" (profiteroles topped with fresh whipped cream) are the star of the dessert menu and you can't leave Rainbow Sweets without trying them (and I truly mean it; you should plan for at least a three-course meal). I've sampled at least four of the specialty pastries, and every single one has been fantastic. From chocolate cake to fruit tarts, poppy seed cake, and cheesecake, each item is uniquely delicious. The food is worth every penny, and the bakery's atmosphere is warm, cozy, and full of character. Each wall is adorned with photos and posters to enjoy, and the music adds to the ambience. Overall, visiting this bakery feels like stepping into an alternate pastry dimension where everything is delightful.
