The bread is homemade and delicious, the portion sizes are very generous, and I can't praise this place enough. I will definitely be returning soon.

Th... read more First time was good but the second time was really bad. We went on Saturday and found out it was buffet only. Two out of three of us did not want the buffet. The food was almost gone and what was left was dried up. Not to mention the couple of flies on the open dessrts. After we told the waitress that two of us really didn't want the buffet and were looking forward to ordering from the menu we were given along reason for buffet only on Fridays and Saturdays. But what came next is what really made my guests upset, while picking at what was on their plates they overheard the waitress call out an order from the menu? How was that possible? We had asked them about ordering from the menu and were told buffet only right? Well we asked them about what we just heard and she then tells us you can order anything from the menu if you go through the drive thru! My guests were angry and I was embarrassed. And I have listened to them tell this to many people and I feel bad because I spoke so highly about it before bringing them there.

We went on Saturday, and they had fried foods, and classic sides, sich as frid catfish, clam strips, chicken livers, as well as corn, mac 'n cheese, bean soup, hush puppies, corn bread... They also included salad bar and dessert bar. For the price, there was much to be had and satisfied.

I had the open face roast beef and mashed potatoes. My wife had the chicken tenders. Both plates were piled high. I barely managed to eat all of my meal. My wife had to take over half of hers home. Everything was delicious. And very competitive priced. And the help was very helpful and friendly. Will be eating there again.
