Was Anonym at The Ranch a mag?
We went here by chance at around 8pm on a Tuesday and noticed the special 2 mains for $30. We chose the chicken parmy with chips and salad and rump with vegetables. We were not disappointed ,portions were huge and we only waited about 15 minutes,we would absolutely recommend The Ranch on a Tuesday night View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about The Ranch:
Reviewed The Ranch previously saying it was hit or miss. The manager replied they now 'have a new head chef that has vastly improved food quality and service'. Well I can't say I agree. Visited this week and ordered a medium-well steak with pepper sauce. I received a medium rare steak with mushroom sauce and so much sinew the steak knife struggled to cut through it. I took it back and the server apologised and arrang... View all feedback.

I went here as part of a birthday group and found the ambience (or lack of it) quite shocking, like eating in a big railway station. Noisy, with a huge TV going (why???) but quite full so I figured it must be very cheap club type food. I was horrified to find a Tbone would cost $39, so I opted for the $9.95 pensioner special of a roast. I must say the beef was very tender, there was a mountain of it, but the veges lacked taste and it was $9.95 worth. But others paid exhorbitant prices for basic steaks and shnitzels with chips and salad. There are so many beautiful restaurants in the city where $39 would get you a chef cooked delicious meal with exciting flavours and top quality produce. I am happy to pay high prices but I must then get high quality. Perhaps these folks are worried about not knowing which cutlery to use or what to order in a good restaurant or perhaps they don't know what top chef cooked food tastes like, but they are certainly throwing their money away here (unless they get the pensioner special of course).

This family-friendly restaurant is perfect for dining out with kids. There is a play area for children located next to the family tables, allowing parents to keep an eye on them through the large glass doors. The restaurant also has a small games arcade, with the water shooting monkey game being a big hit with the little ones. The outdoor seating area is ideal for hosting small events and despite its proximity to the main road, it remains peaceful and quiet. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the drinks are great. One standout feature of The Ranch is the oversized American portion sizes that are sure to leave a lasting impression.

At first glance, this bistro may appear to be just another hotel restaurant, but the food is surprisingly delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the crispy skinned salmon and the Graziers rump steak - both wonderfully cooked. Our drinks, a beer and a cocktail, were also quite enjoyable. Additionally, I appreciated their Tap, Order, Pay system which streamlined the ordering process and eliminated the need to wait in line.
