Square maker is one of many eateries in a food court on the ground floor of this amazing shopping centre. We were served very quickly and the croque monsieur was prepared in front of us, The bread was fresh, lightly toasted and there was plenty of ham in the middle. There are many variations on the croque available - something for everyone. €10 for 2 croque monsieur + a shared canned drink is good value for 2 people.

I guess they use a panini maker instead of a toastie maker, In this shop called Square Maker, l can choose a sandwich like that with more different ingredients, such as salmon, tuna, beef, eggplants, chicken etc. They do a set meal of around 8€ including a grilled sandwich , a choice of salad or dessert and a drink. The idea is nothing new but the concept is to have an open kitchen , to have a quick meal ( food is ready within 1 minute and a half), to be free of cutlery ( all served in paper bags)and to reduce food waste.I order a chicken one with a very nice endive walnut salad while hubby orders a ham sandwich with dessert la laitière ( made of milk chocolate, pear and nougatine, on the toast again), Well, they taste wonderful and are just adequate for a Sunday lunch. And the boy serves us is so nice and friendly, will recommend this to our friends next time.
