We fell by chance on this restaurant. A great formula at 13 euros, shakes the house (mango, pike and birch) mint tea (well served) a patisserie! Great and very good. Meals like home and warm atmosphere. A nice waitress and a delicious local lemonade. I recommend. View all feedback.
What Christophe Charpentier doesn't like about Saf Saf:
I love couscous so I was super excited when a French friend told me it was his favorite place in marseille. Umm. I thought it was just okay. ordered the royal (beef, pork, chicken, merquez, lamb) to share with his daughter. The meat lacked flavour and the peach was rather dry. We also had a tuna block - essentially a fried crêpe with tuna and an egg in the dish inside. I'm not sure I'd recommend it. View all feedback.
We visited here the first night of our trip and were happy to find a restaurant on foot. Even if it was Ramadan and not quite sunset, the staff was quite welcoming (even if it certainly helps to speak a little French). I wouldn't say the menu was wide, but the couscous was certainly very tasty. we returned several times and each time we enjoyed the food.
I went there today, I took the fish of the day with couscous, the food was very good, the service was slow enough, because it was their rush to lunch. Great place for a cheap meal in marseille.
All right to start, there is a wide range of couscous restaurants in marseille in this price range - and these are the small things that separate them. In this case, which distinguishes saf saf from the rest, it is the smoky character of the herd that I really enjoyed on the roast lamb (mechoui) that I had with the couscous. friendly service, well located and not so busy that it is mental - beautiful differences between the tables and a good atmosphere. for 7-8 euros do not hesitate to go. nb a lot of places take to take away, which is good sign!
