Le Grand Cafe - Marseille

Just arrived after a long trip with the TGV and checked in at the hotel it was time for a refreshing drink. The first terrace we would see would be it. Let it be Le Grand Café. One terrace was open one was indoor due the rain we chose to go inside. Sitting on the white leather seats we immediatly smelled something like vomit. There were also a lot of flies on the table. They were friendly but for us it was a mediocre Café. Not all that clean even as the terrace was full of people. After one drink we went to another place which was cleaner. Drinks not that cold after all.

Yes it is a brewery but the food is cooked by a real chef at the minute a perigourdine salad to fall (gesters braised to the poele and slice of veritable fatty faiths ) for 14 euros and then an extra gourmet coffee for 7 euros the all drink included 48 euros for 2 more the service is super nice and commercial.............................. go ahead and run.

Pleasant setting. simple but good dishes. discrete and efficient service. A nice stop. good value quality price.
