The owner is very accommodating when it comes to offering vegetarian options for burgers and vegan smoothies. The food was delicious and the owner was fantastic.
My husband and I couldn't leave Northern Maine without trying the amazing burgers at Timberwolves. I had visited this incredible restaurant last fall with my daughter and had to tell my husband all about it. The food, the owner, and his fantastic nephew who served us were all top notch - a 5 out of 5! We can't wait to return and hopefully catch some live music during our meal. If you haven't been already, definitely give Timberwolves a try - it's sure to become one of your favorites as well!
My son and daughter shared a kid's Mac and Cheese, which came with fresh hand-cut French fries. It was a hit with my son, who couldn't get enough of the mac and cheese before moving on to the fries. Everything was made to order and you could tell that the chef was passionate about his work from the presentation to the flavor. Despite just visiting family for the day, I am already planning to come back with the whole crew next time I visit. Kid-friendliness: The staff was wonderful and even had a high chair available for my son. They also put on his favorite cartoon on the TV.
During our winter getaway in northern Maine this year, my husband and I took his family to a charming family-run restaurant that we were thrilled to discover. Our group consists of vegans and vegetarians, and the owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to prepare vegan meals for us. The vegans in our party enjoyed delicious homemade vegan burgers, while the vegetarians raved about the Mac and cheese. The restaurant has a unique decor and a warm atmosphere that we found very welcoming. Additionally, it was gratifying to support a Native American-owned family business in the area.
Stopped in for a late dinner with my boss after golf. Mike and Sage (co owners) were very good at helping us pick what we wanted and describing various dishes. After dinner we had an amazing conversation with the two co-owners about life in Northern Maine and a variety of other topics. Food was delicious, service was amazingly friendly, nothing to complain about!
