Wow what a fantastic little place this is. We visited Sydney this weekend to attend our good friends wedding at this venue on Saturday evening, totally impressed! The Service from the bar staff and the wait staff was exceptional, friendly, very efficient and professional. The wedding was cocktail style and the ceremony was held upstairs while reception down. This place looks amazing and really is a great venue ! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lazybones Lounge Restaurant & Bar:
really pretty venue, but I can't understand why they would keep shattering bottles all night in the same, small room as performers. the food was very average and we were served dairy on a menu item that was specified vegan, even after confirming twice that the dish didn't come with it. I can't recommend this place. View all feedback.
Great venue and such a surprise. Well air-conditioned, comfortable seating and excellent sound. If an act you like appears there it's a great place to see them, particularly if an intimate setting is appropriate Price per person: A$20–40 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
If you appreciate live music within the context of a cool, cleverly and quirky decorated venue with great beverages and bar favourites, then you must visit, it is easy to see how this may become your chosen place to wind down after a hectic day or week at work. There is a cover charge to come in which definitely helps with filtering clientele. Two levels of really cool areas to chill, listening to a regular stream of visiting performers. What a great forgotten concept, pay a small cover charge, listen to great music, chat with friends during the breaks, grab a pizza or two with your favourite beverage without a poker machine, sports betting section or badly behaving patron in sight. The staff are excellent and friendly especially the woman at the door who is very welcoming and happy to explain what is on and what is coming up.
Just go there, you'll have fun Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I’ve never had venue staff so utterly ruin a great night. Incredibly rude and discriminatory. Basically bullies. Here’s hoping for a full staff overhaul omfg. The bar manager asked me to have a water (about 20 of us had come from a 40th) which I did. She acknowledged that I had done that and chilled with my friends and I could order a last drink for myself and a friend. Then the barman refused. Very confusing, I wasn't intoxicated. Having plenty of very coherent chats with staff and my friends. Super weird vibe, all my mates agreed.
This club will send aggressive roid-raged security guards after you and chase you down the street. This video is filmed over 10 metres from the entrance as I tried to leave while the bouncer is threatening to chase me after I left the venue volunteerarily. Anyone who's worked in hospitality knows that aggressive, snowflake bouncers aren't a solution! Especially when they're built like a sausage McMuffin. How's he even gonna catch me?? We DO NOT have to put up with unprofessional venues that escalate to violence instead of being professional enough to convey their decisions amicably. Come to Melbourne if you need a lesson on how to run a venue properly. This guy will CHOKE SOMEONE OUT eventually unless they can control him. He's just too cowardly and unpredictable to handle a job like this. Disgusting and vile management too. Look at her following me down the road and threatening to call the cops when I left volunteerarily and we were on a public street, more than ten metres away from the entrance and trying to book an uber to avoid being attacked by the bouncer. The musicians were cool tho Edit: I've been working and DJing in this industry for over twenty years. This is the first place that I've witnessed a bouncer AND manager follow anyone out of the venue and proceeded to attempt to intimate them on a public street for more than ten metres from their venue. Considering I left on my own accord, why wouldn't you just let me leave and go about my business? You can't follow people down the street and harass them once they're outside your establishment. That's called harassment and intimidation. It's also a crime and clearly captured on video. Unprofessionalism like this is dangerous and is why so many other venues have to suffer lock-out laws due to these cavalier and dangerous establishments. I have filed my report with the cops this morning and will be taking it up with your local council and real estate agents as well as your neighbours and local businesses via social media on Monday. Have a nice weekend
