We were here tonight for dinner and it was excellent. The food was perfect and the service was lovely. We were there with our 2 small children and they were very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend! View all feedback.
What Сорхагтан Doe doesn't like about Flavours from India:
Was there a month ago, food was ok, garlic naan average and slightly burnt, pappadums were complimentary came with no mint sauce- just dry. Worst mango lassi ever had, you could see the mango syrup they used dripping down the side of the glass, the yoghurt used tasted off! Considering we were the only 2 dinners there, a little more attention to detail would have been expected. View all feedback.
Dropped in to this restaurant as our first choice was closed on Monday. Was pleased with the service which was very friendly and responsive to our need for a quick meal. The food was well prepared and presented quickly. Overall an enjoyable meal.

This restaurant has actually changed its name to Flavours From India, tel: (02) 8068-8613. Its open every day from 5pm to 10pm. A group of us went for dinner. The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. We could take our own wine. The waitress was very sweet (although I don't think she was trained as a waitress - she appeared to be helping in the kitchen and doing everything else as well). I really enjoyed it and will definitely go back - the sizzling fish, lamb saag and butter chicken were totally yummy! We got there at 6:30pm, ordered promptly and were served promptly, but as more people came in the service appeared to get abit slower (*but there was only one waitress)
Read reviews because the restaurant always seems empty and that worried me. I should have ignored the reviews and trusted my instincts. 3 tables including us [2 were just 2 people and the third was 4] and we waited 15 minutes to have our order taken, I should have walked out then but we were celebrating a birthday. Meat was full of gristle and swimming in so much sauce it was hard to find a decent piece of meat. Naan was less than impressive and we missed out on the complimentary papadums and then got overcharged on the rice. These owners could learn a lot from good Indian restaurants. Avoid this restaurant like the plague and save your money - buy a jar of patak's and make your own Indian at home.
I was really keen to try this place after hearing great reviews, however when I did I was very disappointed with their service. I cannot eat coriander so I chose a dish from the menu that did not say it contained coriander and specified on my order that I couldn't have this on anything. When I picked up the order and returned home I found the curry I ordered had lots of coriander in it. While this was annoying, mistakes can happen so I called and requested whether I could get another one. They apologised and said they would make another one and that they would call me back within 15mins so I could come once it was ready. Half an hour later I still hadn't heard anything so I called them back only to find out they hadn't made anything and that if I wanted something I would have to wait longer. Unfortunately due to this experience I won't be eating here again.
