I like the hot tamales or should I say that I like the hot tamales when they were formerly hot tamales and not just cornmeal and they were not used to it, $15 a dozen is either what they feel now as if I were torn off these days You can't say that you increase the price to $15 a dozen because the price of the ground meat went when it is now when there is nothing more. I used to really enjoy the hot tamales, but not anymore. They have changed; now they just taste like cornmeal, and they cost $15 a dozen! I feel like I'm getting ripped off. It's hard to justify such a price hike when the ingredients have clearly changed, and there’s hardly any meat in them anymore—they're almost vegetarian at this point.
The tamales here are fantastic! I live in Covington and make the trip to the Westbank whenever I'm craving tamales. I really wish we had a place like Old Athletes in Covington.
The best tamales we’ve ever tasted! If you haven't tried them yet, you're truly missing out. They have an extensive menu selection, and I highly recommend it!

Miss Joy on 4th street across from Schnell's makes delicious hot tamales.
