Ksar Essaoussan - Marrakesh

We love this place! we were back twice. it is a beautiful long elegant meal with a cocktail to start and wein all in the frame of a set menu.

Such a surprising, but great experience! You have to knock the door, the waiter is opening and the experience starts. The staff were ultra polite and with perfect manners. The food were delicious and you have a aperitif+a bottle of wine included. The prices are more then fair. Related to the 1* review below: Of course it’s only a course menu, but this you would have known if you would check the menu outside of the door before you enter. It’s worth a visit for sure. Thank you.

First and foremost this isn't a cheap location but the food is delicious, the ambiance is impeccable and the service is fabulous. It was recommended to us by our Riad and expected it to be a tourist spot, but it was authentic and a great evening for me and my wife. I highly recommend going when you're hungry because at 100 kg I wasn't able to finish all the food. Warning, it is a little hard to find down an alley.

This is the best place to start your visit in Marrakech. The course meal is an inviting way to experience local culture. We started with nuts, olives, arrangement of six salads, main, dessert and tea cookies. Did I forget to mention it comes with a bottle of wine too! All for under €60. The place is in a traditional Riad home. It’s peaceful and a nice break from the chaos of the souk. I cannot say enough good thinks about this place. The staff is warm and hospitable and accepted me and my sister as their last table on a cold day. I was so grateful for the warm meal, welcoming service and genuine conversation. This might be my favorite restaurant in old Medina. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful restaurant with the most wonderful and attentive staff. The set choice menu's are great with wines, waters and aperitifs that complement the food brilliantly. The portion sizes are quite large, between my girlfriend and myself the Petit Dinner was more than we could handle but the staff where more than happy to wrap up a box to takeaway. I could not recommended this place enough.
