This restaurant has only been open for 4 weeks. The seating is comfortable and tables are have table cloths with white butcher paper on top. We ( a group of 5) were greeted at the door by the manger/cook who has had a long history in the hospitality industry. My brother, who arranged the booking, had spoken to the manager during the week to advise of how he wanted the night to proceed. The manager was very accommodating. We asked him to select for us - entrees and main courses, but enough for 5 people, so we were able to share them. We all received a complimentary tomato soup that was very flavoursome. He chose prawns (1 piece each) and chicken tikka for entrees and for mains pork belly vindaloo (very tender and tasty), butter chicken with lovely flavours and lamb rogan josh. All dishes were delicious and we had ample to eat. We all ate from individual platters that had a small serving of rice, naan, small potato salad and a popadom and generally customers will choose their main dish and a serving will be on the platter. An interesting way to present, however my preference is the way it was served to us and we were charged accordingly. The cook was also very accommodating in that we wanted to order spinach/cheese naan which wasn't on the menu and he did make us one to share. It was a quiet night, surprisingly, but I don't think many people know about it yet.Overall, it was a tasty meal, the atmosphere- friendly- due to the manager and waitress was always smiling and lovely but spoke very little English. It's definitely worth a visit to try the food and check it out for yourself. It worked out to about $30 per head but a couple of us had a dessert each and we didn't have the standard platter arrangement. It's BYO and we weren't charged corkage
Large authentic Indian cuisine. nice quiet location. service was promptly friendly and accommodating.
This restaurant provides excellent customer service. We reserved this venue for a party. The food was authentic and the portion sizes were generous for the prices they charge. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Many thanks for supporting our event.
