Ocean Ended - MAROOCHYDORE

For our starters, we shared a seafood tasting plate and whitebait fritters, all of which were deliciously prepared and presented. We both opted for the Fish of the Day, wild Barramundi with a warm salad, and shared a side of fries. The fish was fresh, moist, and flavorful. We paired our meal with a bottle of Pinot Gris from the varied wine list. Although we were too full for dessert, we plan to return on our next trip to Maroochydore to try the Eton Mess, if it's still available. The restaurant was a delight to dine in, with friendly and knowledgeable hosts who ensured we had an enjoyable evening. We highly recommend this restaurant for its exceptional food and service, and eagerly anticipate our next visit.

I was lucky enough to attend a small wedding held at Ocean Ended Resaurant and was extremely impressed with this lovely venue. From the moment we entered, the hosts Paul and Michael made us feel very welcomed. The restaurant is beautifully located by the riverside as the name suggests. The evening began with champagne on arrival accompanied by delicious hors d'oeuvres. Once seated we were treated to generous mixed entree platters which included a mix of hot and cold food, all equally yummy! The main and dessert dishes were an alternate drop of 4, each different dish looked amazing. My main meal was roasted spatchcock served with pumpkin purée, melt in your mouth tender and full of flavour. Although it was a struggle, I managed to eat most of my dessert, the Santa Fe chocolate brownie, as a chocolate connoisseur it ticked all the boxes! I cannot fault this restaurant, the wonderful staff and fabulous food made this beautiful wedding an event to remember!

This prime located river front restaurant is tucked away form the tourists. The hosts Paul and Michael are great and the food was to die for. The wine list was extensive.

Thank you Paul and Michael for another wonderful experience. The delicious food, that fabulous new Milanese Pinot Grigio, the exquisite view and the warm welcome from consummate hosts make for a relaxing happy repast. Champagne pearl oysters perfect starter. Eton Mess is a favourite.

The hosts, Paul & Michael, were 2 of the most spectacular hosts I've ever met. The moment we walked in the door, we were greeted like we were old friends and made to feel so comfortable and welcome. The food surpassed all our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed every last morsel. The chefs selection plate of seafood and the roasted spatchcock were beyond delicious. Oh and that Eton Mess! Yum!I am already eyeing off the menu and planning my next visit! Thank you so much Ocean Ended for a fantastic night. I will be back ASAP!
