The Tilapia plate was delicious, the chicken is really good. The coleslaw wasn't qhat I was expecting but everybody makes it different, it was just ok for me. We don't live anywhere near here and where pleased with the entire visit. Thank you so much View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sam’s Southern Eatery:
It was really disappointing! I couldn't finish even a single piece of fish. We paid $29.25 for two lunches, and if a walk could smell old oil, that should have been a warning. I wanted to give it a chance, but I'm regretful now. View all feedback.
Pretty good catfish, giant shrimp and all in all just good.
Southern eatery? Yeah right. Their main fish on the menu you’d assume would be catfish but as it turns out it’s a type of fish imported from Vietnam! On top of this the only thing catfish on the menu is the entire fish fried bones and all, 0 fillet options. Do yourself a favor and go to a local catfish joint.

The food has always been very good. The wait has also been short. I would recommend.
Dining here is always a pleasure. I tried the wings for the first time, and they were fantastic!
