At this bustling local eatery, diners experience a range of culinary highs and lows. Many patrons rave about the delicious breakfast options, highlighting well-prepared dishes such as hash browns and pancakes. However, some have voiced concerns over inconsistent food quality and portion sizes, particularly for pricey items like burgers and chicken strips. Service is a mixed affair, with some encountering unfriendly staff, while others praise the attentive service. Overall, while some aspects shine brightly, others leave diners wanting more, making it a restaurant that may warrant a second chance despite its shortcomings.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this hidden gem of a restaurant. It's not often that you come across a place that serves such hearty breakfast dishes at 10 am, along with the rest of their menu that I found to be incredibly indulgent. The food was delicious and unique, definitely not something I had experienced in Texas before. Despite not being too crowded, we noticed a steady stream of delivery orders coming in from various services. The service was outstanding and the decor was quirky, featuring pop culture icons from the past. I also appreciated the presence of a second accessible bathroom, which is something that many people may not realize the importance of. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

The prices at this restaurant are quite high for the portion sizes. I ordered the chicken strip basket and received only three small strips and maybe half a cup of fries, which were overcooked. I also ordered the hot hamburger plate and got a well-made burger on soggy toast. I paid $4 for a root beer, which I later realized was a bit overpriced compared to the $2.59 root beer without the souvenir cup. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. The service was unfriendly and our server was rarely seen.

After multiple visits in the last three months, I can no longer recommend Boomerang Diner to anyone in Duncan. As of today, 5/17/2022, the restaurant staff appeared lazy and indifferent towards guests. There was only one menu card in the entire restaurant, which is unacceptable for a major restaurant chain. The staff seemed unwilling or unmotivated to address the issue of the missing menus. The food was subpar and poorly cooked - my hamburger was bland and slightly undercooked, leading to a lackluster dining experience. The onion rings I ordered tasted like frozen and deep-fried rings, resembling those from other chain restaurants like Sonic. The meal was overpriced and not worth the $10.35 I spent. I advise against dining here if you are looking for a decent meal at a fair price. It is better to seek out other dining options in Duncan.

Now, they are terrible administration serious and rude I regret that I know the best and will not take any driving from strangers, I'm sorry if I don't trust anyone, but for them to bark me and talk me, I regret that I leave immediately with a word, I can say that they all have a d in health code violations of my opinion. I thought it was a great job, but it is not that they don't treat people like dogs

It used to be really good but nowadays the portions are small the hash browns are burnt. The root beers are supposed to be in frosted mugs every time we go in they say they have no frosted mugs. Over medium eggs are totally cook yolks. Some bacon are so crispy you can't eat it the others uncooked.
