The Draft Room - Marksville
The Draft Room
Description
This neighborhood restaurant divides diners: some praise generous portions, standout shrimp-and-grits, pizza, and a strong beer selection with attentive servers; others report undercooked or greasy dishes, cold sides, bland salads, missing utensils, rude or overwhelmed staff, and limited menu availability. Atmosphere is pleasant at times but uneven. Expect big portions and good beer but variable food and service—hits and misses depending on the visit.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I wasn't even allowed to order a to-go meal. The food was terrible, the service was lacking, and the atmosphere was poor. Overall ratings: Food: 1, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.
I got the nachos and I couldn't believe how much it was. 3 people could have eaten it was so much. Deena was one of the best servers you could ask for. I really like the place and it was a first time visit there.
Food is good, but takes FOREVERRRRRRR to get it. No matter the time or day of the week, they are always short staffed.
First time I came the waitress was very polite and helpful. The second time i come our waiter wasn’t really helpful, he took our menus after ordering our appetizers so we had to look on the menu on the website to order our food and he also didn’t give any napkins nor silverware. We had to tell him that we were ready to order. He was also rude and acted like he didn’t really care about his job. His name tag said Damian A.
The food was awful I had the Swiss cheeseburger/ mushrooms and grilled onion with a side of baked beans My beans was ice cold My burger had more grease than meat The waitress was or seemed overwhelmed and appeared to be the only waitress My husband ordered the catfish and shrimp dinner The fish was under cooked and the shrimp was burnt processed shrimp and the French fries soggy with grease The only thing decent was the coleslaw
