The service was incredibly disappointing. The team at the drive-thru either needs retraining or complete replacement. Today is the start of the week, and my order was incorrect – I was missing my hash brown and requested a chocolate glaze, but received a chocolate dip instead. To make matters worse, my coffee lid wasn't secured properly, causing coffee to spill all over my car. This location clearly suffers from poor management.
When I reached the pick-up window, I asked the server if all the food was included, as I had only ordered 9 drinks. To my surprise, she handed me 11 drinks. She didn’t listen to my concern and continued to shout at the lady making the coffee. I can’t understand why; the employee was just ensuring that every coffee was properly mixed and the lids were secure – it only took a few extra seconds, but it was for the customers' safety. What’s even more troubling is the manager's inaction. Why didn’t she intervene during this incident? It felt like bullying, and it seems they are not accepting new employees into their team. This workplace atmosphere is completely unacceptable.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. There was a girl, who I assume is a new employee, and her manager or supervisor was training her in a very unprofessional manner. He was shouting at her and even told her to memorize the menu items as if they were in a classroom. His behavior was quite rude. This is not a welcoming environment for anyone who wants to learn and grow. The staff should be treated with kindness and respect. Overall, it felt like a very toxic workplace.
I visit Tim's every morning for coffee and a bagel, and I have to say that it's a very clean and well-run Tim Hortons location.
