Description

Visiting Sansotei Ramen in Markham, the experience was a mix of highs and lows. While some found the soup base too creamy and salty, others loved the rich flavors. Limited seating and a slightly dirty restaurant were concerns, but the service was efficient and top-notch. The food received mixed reviews, with some finding it average and others claiming it was the best they've tasted in Markham. Overall, the restaurant did not meet some visitors' high expectations, but others found it worth returning to for the delicious ramen and efficient service.

Everything just good as expected. My son’s comment: it would be perfect if tomato broth can be richer ?. Corn croquette is not a good matching when you are having rich ramen soup. Overall we are happy to having dinner here.

The ramen was disappointing. The eggs were overcooked, and the broth was both bland and overly salty. While the pork was tender, the seasoning just didn’t hit the mark. Overall, it felt like it was priced too high for the quality.

Every time I visit this restaurant, I'm always pleased. The experience is consistently satisfying and feels like enjoying a comforting bowl of homemade Asian cuisine. I ordered the Shoyu (with fewer green onions), and it was delicious—way better than anything I could prepare at home. I initially asked for the Tonkotsu, but they were out of it. It would be helpful if the staff mentioned that when seating guests or handing out menus, but it's not a major issue.

The tonkotsu ramen is fantastic. Creamy, tasty broth and the pork is very toasty and comforting. Very family friendly restaurant. Great service and ambience.

I had the tonkotsu ramen and a seaweed salad. We came for an early dinner on a Saturday and didn't have to wait (just the two of us). I noticed there were a lot of young families during this time, and it wasn't as easy for them to get seated quickly since high chairs can only be placed at tables, not in booths. The service was excellent, but keep in mind that the menu is only available online. Unfortunately, they didn't have any tantanmen available when we visited, which was disappointing because we would have ordered that as one of our dishes. As for parking, there's plenty available, but it can get busy during peak meal times on weekends.
