This is one of the best ramen in town. Especially the Tonkutsu Black Ramen, the soup taste so good. Also the deep fried chicken was so juicy even after deep fried. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sansotei Ramen:
We ordered miso black ramen and black tonkotsu ramen (with extra chashu). The taste for me is average, but my son loves it (he loves noodles).I also ordered a slice of Millie special. It was good but a bit over price ($8.85/slice).Please check their opening hours before you go, just in case, because they do close from 2 to 5pm View all feedback.
I had very high expectations coming to this ramen place, because I assume Markham is a competitive market, however, I was fairly disappointed. First of all, there were 14 of us (4 families with kids) I called ahead wondering if reservations can be made, I was only greeted over the phone with laughter. Still, we gave it a chance and when we entered the place, they were unable to accommodate our party because there were too many of us. We were told to be broken into two tables, where we won't be able to talk to each other, when we asked, the waitress was surprised that we needed to be sitting together. (Eh, say what?) Finally, the waitress overheard us wanting to leave, and finally asked another table to move so they can sit us at the only large table they have. The food was average at best, with limited options, perhaps this is considered delicious in Markham, but I can tell you there are way better ones elsewhere. I won't be back again.

Service was excellent. The noodles and the broth is out of this world, a little spicy for us, but delicious. Chicken and noodles were also wonderful.
The shop opened at 12, and by the time we arrived at 12:05 - we were the last table seated. The line continued the whole time we had our food. Service was slower than anticipated, but also noting that the whole restaurant sat at the same time. The menu is very limited, but that also meant that their quality was very good as they were able to focus on what they were doing. Unfortunately, that day, they only had seaweed salad as an appetizer, and none of the other items were available. The original ramen - first item on the menu was the tastiest. The broth tasted like it had been simmered for hours, and was very flavourful. We ordered 4 different noodles. The tomato one was definitely acidic. The spicy was not that spicy but there is definitely a kick. All of the noodles had tasty toppings and meats. We would definitely go back, but we would make sure to be the first group in line!
This is not a very big restaurant, but the ramen is one of the best I have tried. Definitely would want to go back again.
