Was Chan Family at Onezo Tapioca a mag?

I love the strong flavour of their tea and their bubbles. I couldn’t give them five stars though because I’ve been wanting to try their rose bubbles, but each time I go, they do not have it available. View all feedback.

What Tiffany D dislikes about Onezo Tapioca:

Our orders were ready within five minutes, and I took my first sip. It was decent, but I’ve definitely had better fruit teas. This one tasted mostly like passion fruit green tea with some mixed fruit added. When I tried Mr. Tran's milk tea, I found it to be bland—definitely not the best. The ordering process was frustrating, to say the least. We had to answer so many questions: Do you want milk, milk tea, or soy milk? How much ice? How much sugar? Would you like extra tapioca, and if so, what type? What size drink do you want? (Even though a promo indicated that only medium was available.) And then there were more questions about toppings! This lengthy process likely contributed to the long wait times. Additionally, the staff didn’t seem very familiar with the menu. I had to point things out and even flip over their promotional sign to show them one of the special drinks, the taro mochi milk tea. Unfortunately, that drink had a strange flavor and seemed to lack the promised Oreo pieces. It had chunks of taro and gooey mochi, which was quite unusual. I would rate this drink a 2/10.

Expectation vs. reality: I paid $9 for this disappointing dish. It not only looks like a mess, but it also tastes awful.

Very fun bubble tea shop. If you like variety of tapioca options this is a great choice for you to be able to choose customizable color and flavors of tapioca. If you have a weird thing like me where you want to have your drink a fun color, there are many taro/purple options that are unique tasting and fun. The sweetness level is a bit higher than expected. I ordered 25% sugar and would say it is easily 50% at Cha Time for sweetness. The tapioca is extra chewy and the texture is really different than other places, in an enjoyable way.
